Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager

We Animals (WAM) brings visibility to the lives of hidden animals through compelling photography and film. As the world’s leading animal photojournalism agency, it is our mission to document the stories of animals in the human environment — those used for food, fashion, entertainment, and experimentation — and to connect those stories to the individuals and organizations who can amplify their reach.

Our growing network of award-winning photographers and videographers extends throughout the world, capturing images from a broad and diverse spectrum of animal industries. Together we have created the world’s leading library of animal images and video. This globally accessible resource is made available for free to anyone looking to inspire change, and is accessed daily by media, educators, policy-makers, and individuals.

Our team is looking for a talented Social Media Manager to advance the conversation on animal photojournalism through our social media presence. With a viewership in the tens of thousands, our social media channels are our main connection with our audiences and are the primary outlet through which we tell our stories. As an ideal candidate for this role, you passionately believe that our visuals need to be seen and are wholeheartedly committed to telling the story behind the visuals with a journalistic lens. You are proactive, thoughtful, and aren’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table.
